The written article was all about the saving and budgeting of a high school students. The author wrote six fun activities that will help the students to save money and know the real value of money to them. Money is not just a thing that they must spend most, because money will help you to have better life in the future.
The main focus of this article is to help the students know how to save and budget their money given the six activities. Because most of the students nowadays doesn’t care about it because they didn’t take a hard work on it, so the article wanted to show the importance of it.
As the author said, “One of the biggest challenges in teaching high school students is choosing how to balance teaching practical life skills and academic knowledge.” Not just students are struggling with it, also the teachers that works hard to teach the students how to balance practical life skills and academic. We are all affected by this problem so it must have a solution.
In the activity “My Buying Plan”, I learned so much things that I didn’t expect. I learned now how I treat the money irresponsibly, because I saw on my buying plan that I spend a lot of money in buying such expensive prpducts and things that I wanted. I also learned how to become thrifty person, I understand how important our money in spending for our needs. In this activity, I realized that I must be responsible for spending and budgeting my money, for my future and for my family. Also, I must prioritize the things that I really need, not the things that I just want or desire.
Basketball is not just a sport, it’s a passion that will lead us to succession, as well as money. But if we didn’t value this properly, we may not gain or success in the future. This article studies how to help the high school students from savings and budgeting, the same as my blog, I study how to help aspiring basketball players to play basketball. Also, money is the product of your hard work, which can be this sport.
Most of the students nowadays, especially the high school students, didn’t think about budgeting and saving their money properly. They only think about the happiness that they’ll get in the things that they bought. They didn’t think and prepare for their future, becuase their mindset is just enjoying and playing their life, and that is bad for them. They must think their future lives, not only the present.
I’ve been there in that situation when I was in highschool. I used to spend a lot of money in playing such online games and buying a lot of nonsense things that makes me happy in a short period of time. I have a weekly allowance and I spend all of those things in buying such things, getting together with my friends, eating foods and other personal activities. Then I suddenly realized that I must learn how to save my money for my future and for me to discipline myself. When I started to get a job which is Table Officiating in Basketball, I learn the importance of saving and budgeting money. The moment I worked hard for it, I realized that having a much money is really needs a hard work.
This article really helped me a lot to understand my topic, I realized that having money is really needed a hard work and perseverance just like basketball, to become a great basketball player you must work hard for it. I understand that this is the product of hardworking and I do believe the process of this.
I really recommend this article to you mostly to my friends, for the reason of this article does really help me a lot in understanding the value or the importance of money also the hard work of the teachers who struggles in teaching the highschool students in saving their money.
